Account and Data Deletion
This page explains how to delete your EduDiamond AI account and the data linked to it.

1. Individual account (created with Apple, Google or email)
In the app, immediately:
- Open EduDiamond AI and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account and confirm (if you signed in with Apple, Apple may ask you to verify once more).
Your account and data are permanently deleted immediately.
If you cannot access the app: email help@edudiamond.com from your account’s email address with the subject “Account deletion”. After verifying your identity we complete the request within 30 days at the latest.
2. Users signing in with an EduDiamond institution account
Your EduDiamond account is opened and closed by your institution. Send your deletion request to your institution or write to help@edudiamond.com; we process it together with the institution and follow up. Your records kept in EduDiamond AI (questions, solutions, notebook, counters) are deleted within 30 days of your request.
3. What is deleted
- Account and profile (name, email, grade, goal, birth year, parent details)
- Question photos and text, solutions, follow-up and topic questions
- Notebook entries and notes
- Usage counters and consent records
- Your Firebase sign-in account
4. What cannot be deleted or is kept for a while
- Store invoices and payment records are held by Apple or Google under their policies and cannot be deleted by us.
- Records the law requires us to keep (e.g. technical logs under Law No. 5651 up to 2 years, financial records) are kept for the statutory period, then deleted.
- Anonymous aggregate statistics not linked to you.
5. Good to know
- Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Follow the steps above to delete your data.
- Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel EduDiamond AI Plus separately in the App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).
- Deletion cannot be undone.
- To withdraw only your AI consent without deleting the account: Profile > “Withdraw AI consent”. This stops consent-based processing; it does not delete the account.
- You can also delete individual notebook entries in the app.
